The Master Teacher

The Master Teacher represents the advanced program, a culmination of growth following the entire training and development process.

There are many different views of what a master teacher entails. However one may look at it, leadership in its advanced form implies pursuit of mastery at some level. A teacher at an advanced stage would necessarily be able to serve as a strong and reliable source of leadership not only to the school but to the entire educational system.

To accomplish this MindSpring Consulting has created two powerful tools to help participants move closer and closer to mastery of the above principles.

  • LSC Chart: The Leadership Style Chart provides the leader with an in-depth understanding of six teaching styles and behavioral patterns associated with each of those styles.
  • The Leadership Box: This tool is designed to provide participants an in-depth understanding of the origins of their leadership, how their beliefs, experiences and perceptions have shaped their leadership, and what they can do about them to exact the leadership outcomes they desire.

This 3 day program is intended to be an intense and growthful leadership experience that will significantly contribute to your development goals as a master teacher.
